I now work for the Town of Prescott Valley, Arizona as their Water Resources Project Manager. My duties include project planning, monitoring, and management of wastewater and stormwater recharge projects for the town. I am also involved in regional planning efforts for securing imported water, as the Town is in an Active Management Area, where groundwater use is limited to minimize long-term impacts to water levels in the aquifer system. Recharging wastewater allows the Town to receive credits that can be used toward groundwater withdrawals that facilitate continued economic growth. I love it here so far—mountains are visible in every direction, there’s plenty to see and do in the immediate area, and the people are great!
