Spring greetings to our whole membership! I hope you’re looking forward to the first signs of the thaw. Ice-out feels a bit like the equivalent of a Hydrologist’s March Madness.
Q1 activities for MGWA have us full steam for the year ahead. The Board of Directors are working to bring a timely and interesting Spring Conference and this spring we’re bringing it back in-person! We’ve heard from the membership of the importance of being together so this May, we look forward to a beautiful Minnesota day at the Landscape Arboretum. Quarterly socials continue making a tour of each Twin Cities quadrant; next up is the north metro!
Board membership positions are open! We’re seeking several positions and would love to have your input and volunteerism to bring fun and education to our membership and state. We’re especially looking forward to creative ideas and implementation. The hard work of restructuring, administrative changes and upgrades to operational systems is largely behind us so we’re shifting gears into a mode of activity focused on you, our members. We hope you’ll help us by jumping in to get involved, encourage friends to join and bring your energy to the jump into spring!
