Sandeep Burman is the new President of the MGWA for 2023. Sandeep serves as the State Drinking Water Administrator at the Minnesota Department of Health. Rebecca Higgins is the MGWA President Elect. Rebecca is a Senior Hydrogeologist at the MPCA and is the technical lead for the PFAS Source Assessment and Feasibility in the East Metro under the 2018 3M Settlement. Michael Ginsbach, a hydrologist with the MPCA’s Remediation Division, remains the MGWA Secretary. Eric Bunge, a hydrologist with Minnesota DNR, is the new MGWA Treasurer. The Association would like to recognize and thank outgoing Treasurer Vanessa Baratta and Past President Jeré Mohr. As Past President, Jeré will continue to serve on the MGWA Board in 2023 and will also serve on the MGWA Foundation Board as the MGWA Liaison.
