Mark has monitored so-called contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) for more than a decade for possible impacts on Minnesota waters and wildlife. Read more: Snowflakes, raindrops and dust bring CECs to lakes and fish in Circle: Native American News and Arts and at MPR. Or see Mark’s latest journal article in the Science of the Total Environment. Mark also just finished a new report: Pharmaceuticals and chemicals of concern in Minnesota lakes.
